Thread’s visionary business turns trash from developing countries into the most responsible fabric on the planet. We used photography, videos, personal stories, design, and special interactions — the human element — to bring this mission to life online.

Together, Thread and Roket identified distinct user profiles, mapped each user’s pathway, and designed a content structure to fit. We then layered on an evolved visual brand to provide their story with maximum online impact.

Brand engagement was key. We built customizable calls to action, dynamic contact forms, a custom app using the Twitter API, and a custom “social wall” for integrating Thread’s social media feeds into the website.

Websites are an investment—not an exercise. We build forward-thinking websites that stand the test of time. We plan for what a site will need to be fully functional in a year — not just what is needed at launch.

User Experience

Typically, when we talk about user experience, its centers on the end user or customer. But what about the folks that have to maintain the website? Too often, they’re overlooked. A clunky, disorganized CMS leads to broken pages, dead links, stale content, and can have a hugely negative impact on a business.

We wanted Thread’s team to have just as flawless and enjoyable an experience maintaining the site as their visitors have using it. Thanks to our efforts, pages won't break, new pages are quick to create, and each page’s images and text are easily edited using clearly labeled and sequential content blocks.
